The creator of The Last of Us has provided fans with information on the release date of season 2.

City and County of Los Angeles, California – According to one of the creators of the groundbreaking television series, The Last of Us (TLOU), production on the second season of the show will begin very soon!Co-creator Neil Druckmann recently revealed to Entertainment Weekly (EW) that production for the next season of the post-apocalyptic thriller will begin once the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes conclude.

While discussing the upcoming opening of the Naughty Dog–themed park at Universal Orlando Resort, which will be based on the game, Druckman also dropped a huge clue regarding the upcoming second season of TLOU.

“We’ve outlined all of season 2, and we’re ready to go as soon as the strike ends,” adds Druckmann. “We’re excited to get back to work.”As a result of the continuing strikes that started with the WGA in May, a number of series, including Stranger Things, Abbott Elementary, and others, have been put on hold. TLOU is by no means the only production to be delayed as a result of these strikes.
