Another long weekend has arrived in the United States, and with it comes the traditional conclusion of summer. Even though fall doesn’t officially begin for another several weeks, people all throughout the country are getting set to have one final barbecue and swim before the season ends. If you’re like us and you’re planning to spend much of the Labor Day weekend relaxing in front of the TV or the movies, you might be wondering what’s new on the various streaming services.
If you were hoping to watch Indiana Jones 5 this weekend or anytime soon, we have some disappointing news for you. The Little Mermaid will be added to Disney+ this month on Wednesday, September 6. Disney+ has announced its lineup through September 2023, and unfortunately, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny is not among them. It has been confirmed that the new film will not be available on the service this month.
When can we expect to see Indiana Jones 5 on Disney+?
I know how agonizingly long you’ve been waiting to watch Indiana Jones 5 on home video. However, it’s not all terrible news, as there is hope that the Harrison Ford film will premiere on Disney+ in October 2023. Late May marked the theatrical debut of The Little Mermaid, and next week will see the arrival of Indiana Jones 5 in streaming services. If this is the case, then we may expect to see Indiana Jones 5 on Disney+ in late September or early October.
Disney has not confirmed this October streaming release date, so please take our forecast with a grain of salt.
Those who can’t wait a month (or more) may now get Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny on digital this week for $19.99 via Amazon Prime Video.
Currently, Disney+ offers the first three episodes of Ahsoka to stream, with fresh episodes debuting every Tuesday night. You may also view movies from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the X-Men series, and more on this site.
